Social Entrepreneurship in Berlin

From March 10, 2023 to March 17, 2023, MSW, MBA, and undergraduate students minoring in the Business of Social Impact traveled to Berlin to learn from social entrepreneurs there. Students had the opportunity to travel to Berlin, Germany over spring break and learn how social entrepreneurs are discovering new ways to organize their work, fund their ventures, and pursue inclusive prosperity.

Gender, Physical Activity, & Urban Development in Berlin

From May 23, 2023, to June 2, 2023, MSW and MPH students from the Brown School will travel to Berlin to meet with community leaders and social entrepreneurs working to promote gender equality and LGBT rights. Students will meet with professionals developing and delivering programs for transgender youth and adults, sex workers, sexual health clinics, sports clubs working in the inner city, services to mothers and children, services for refugee and migrant women, and programs for a variety of queer youth.
